Josh Davies is head of strength and conditioning at Wellfit, Dubai’s state-of-the-art multi-sport fitness center dedicated to motivating and educating UAE’s youth in applying active living to their everyday lives. With a background in professional rugby and an 8-year career as a regionals level CrossFit athlete, Josh knows a thing or two about training and competing at the highest sporting level. He also has a master’s degree in strength and conditioning and is currently undertaking his PhD, where he is researching muscular and neuromuscular responses to strength training in the field of sport science with a focus on youth athletes. He joins us to speak all about strength and power development in youth, motivating kids to be active, and how those early fitness habits can set them up for the rest of their lives.
