GO TO THE NEW MUSEUM OF ILLUSIONS IN DUBAI – Tuesday, September 11 is the opening date for the world’s fastest-growing museum chain, in the Al Seef development near Dubai Creek. There are now six locations since the first launched in Zagreb, Croatia in 2015, with a half-dozen more due in 2018 alone. The Dubai venue will feature the Vortex Tunnel, a rotating cylinder that tricks the brain into thinking the ground under the person’s feet is shifting, as well as the Ames Room, where guests appear to shrink or grow depending on their position in the exhibit.
