MARK ARTHRITIS AWARENESS DAY IN DUBAI – The Middle East Arthritis Foundation is hosting an annual awareness event to mark the day on Friday, October 12, from 8am to 5pm at the Shangri-la hotel, Dubai. TRY SOME NEW HEALTHY BOWLS IN DUBAI – Ultra Brasserie (with locations in Emaar Square and Marina Plaza) has introduced a new range of healthy power bowls for Dh50 each. The bowls are chock-full of proteins, whether they are all-veg or beef, chicken or fish, including Vietnamese braised beef and grilled salmon, as well as superfoods such as turmeric spiced smashed cauliflower and micro greens. 

GO TO A YOGA CROSSOVER CLASS IN ABU DHABI – Two big parts of the capital’s health and wellness community are joining forces. The first crossover will be a Swing Yoga class offered The Hot House in Al Zeina on October 8 at 7pm, where a teacher from The Studio on the Corniche will be on hand to guide students through an earthly flow followed by a soft, swinging savasana.

HAVE A D’TOX BRUNCH IN ABU DHABI – It’s health central at Nolu’s Downtown in Galleria Mall on Al Maryah Island every Saturday from 11am to 3pm.
